Melissa, don’t feel bad about not making her cake. I feel like the other ladies – if it relieves stress to not make it I’m all for that! I had to make you alls cakes when you were growing up because there was no place to go buy one.lol. The cake was adorable and I bet it tasted good too!

Thanks Lydia! I’ve always admired the moms who make special birthday cakes for their kids. Not making it was such a stress reliever this year. Especially since I had never made a teddy bear cake so I wasn’t even sure it was going to come out looking good!

thanks Kara! LOL I usually do enjoy making their cakes. Or at least try. But thanks for the complements! Yes, Kara’s middle name is Rose. It took forever for Mike to stop calling her Kara Rose. I was like, Rose is her middle name! You don’t have to say it every time you say her name!

Okay- a few things: 1. You are too much of a perfect mom for making birthday cakes every year! I have got the cake from the local bakery since birthday 1 for both boys (yay me)!! 2. Very cute! Looks like she had a great time! Don’t feel guilty about not making her cake! I’ve never made Garrett’s. lol A friend of mine does them professionally, so I just get her to make them for me. They turn out amazing and I don’t have to mess with making them. I’m sure I will when he’s older and doesn’t want a themed party. haha

Good pictures of the birthday party! Madelyn looked cute in her dress and her pig tails. The cake was really cute too. Wish we could have been there.
