Losing It Week 16

A couple of days ago I put on my Facebook status that with my consistent exercise this week I would be ticked if I didn’t lose weight this week.

Well, I’m ticked.

Can you believe that after FOUR days of exercising I didn’t lose a thing? I maintained! And I can honestly say that I ate well this week. No overeating. Unless you count the two hot dogs I had at the block party last night. But still! It’s not like I walked around eating brownies and cookies. It was two hot dogs!

Anyway, I’m ticked and I can honestly say I don’t know what to do differently. Maybe my body is gearing up for a big loss next week?

Let’s hope!

Anyway, I’m more ticked than discouraged because I just knew I’d get on the scale this morning and at least see two pounds gone. But, I’m super proud of my exercise commitment this week. For the record, I haven’t measured myself in ages. I should probably do that, huh?

Ya, I'd be ticked too. I HATE when that happens. When you work your booty off and the scale doesn't show that your booty is off! However, I'd measure yourself. Some of that chub might have turned into muscle, which is much firmer/tighter than chub. If you know what I mean!

Don't be discouraged! Know that you are doing the RIGHT thing for your body. We need regular exercise for all the systems to work well, and even if you didn't lose weight, your body is still thankful that you are taking the time to pay attention to it.

Just keep swimming girl! It will come off!

Oh girl! I am so sorry & completely understand why you are ticked!! I hate those weeks! Did you take measurements? If not definitely measure key areas like hip, wait, rear, even legs & arms. On weeks you don't lose weight, I bet you lose inches! And that makes those weeks feel slightly better;) Hang in there & like you say your commitment to exercise is awesome, so even if you're ticked you can be proud at the same time!!

Be proud of working out! That's awesome. And the human body is so weird (in a good way) about weight. I have weeks where I think I've done exceptional and lose nothing. And then other weeks where I haven't done so well and I actually lose some. Keep up the good work!

Ugh! How frustrating! I hope you keep your chin up and go, go, go! Hopefully next week will be awesome on the scale! :)

I am proud of myself. I haven't taken measurements but I plan to. Thanks!

I know! Every time I think I've gained, I lose and every time I think I've lost I gain! Grr…

Yes! I'm going to keep on keeping on! Thanks!

Thanks mom! Let's hope I see some “improvement” on the scale next week

I would agree with taking your measurements. I only re-check mine once a month, but seeing those numbers change definitely help when the scale doesn't move. It will! Just stay consistent!! Proud of your exercise streak – keep it up!
