Mike did an awesome job on the backsplash! It makes a huge difference! I know because we did a lot of that type of thing before moving in here to our house and just a new coat of paint made it look like a different house. I’m glad that at least you guys made lots of improvements so now you get to live in your “updated” house. Maybe that will make it less difficult.

That really sucks about the monitor not working the first time. How frustrating. I hope the cyst goes away! That would not be fun if they had to surgically remove it (I’m assuming that would be the next step if it didn’t go away on it’s own?) If this is what is keeping you from getting pregnant, that would be great b/c at least they would know exactly what it is and they could fix it. I hope that sounded the way I wanted it to! I don’t want there to be anything “wrong” with you! BUT, if there WAS and this was IT, that would be good because there would be no mystery anymore. Hopefully that sounded better!

Katelyn’s costume is adorable! Can’t wait to see videos of her recital!

I agree, the backsplash looks wonderful! I always love getting home improvements done even little things. They add up. Hope the health issues resolve themselves…not fun I know. And Katelyn looks precious in that outfit. Too sweet!

First of all Katelyn looks soooo cute in her outfit. I can see why she wants to wear it all the time. Your backsplash looks GREAT. I can’t believe what small changes does to a room. I’m so glad Mike was able to do that especially since you’ll be there a little while longer. Your valance on the window looks very good too. I’m sorry to hear abougt Katelyn’s UTI again. When did she get it? You hadn’t told me about it on the phone. I hope she’s better already!

@ Lydia, she used to take bubble baths but hasn’t in a long time. Katelyn went through a stage where I had to remind her to wipe at all because she never would. And now she remembers to wipe but after #2 doesn’t do a good job at all. I have to check her every time now.

The backsplash looks great! At least you get to enjoy it now! I agree on the clutter! It’s so easy for me to overlook stuff that I know other people would notice. I’m hoping to give my a house a really good once over this spring and completely declutter again. My kitchen is bad right now. As well as my linen closet-turned catch-all.

I can’t believe they wouldn’t be able to save your monitor results and read them on a different machine or a new machine! What a pain!

Does Katelyn take a lot of bubble baths? I’ve heard that those can cause UTI in little girls sometimes. I remember my Grandma giving me a big lecture on the proper way to wipe when I was little and scared me into thinking (truthfully of course) that I would get a bad infection if I didn’t wipe correctly. haha So I was always super careful with that because I was too afraid of getting really sick.
