Don’t you think??
I found Mr. Ken sitting innocently on my Shark steam cleaner the other day.
Naked.
Makes you wonder what these dolls do when we’re not looking…

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010
2 days.
TWO days until Christmas!!! How exciting is that?
Even though we’ve had a rough few days with the stomach virus and migraines we still have the Christmas spirit. Mike now has the stomach virus and is laid out in bed.
Hopefully we’ll be well by Friday and we can have a sick-free Christmas!!
It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas around here.
I decorated for Christmas very simply this year:
Due to the lack of room I couldn’t take out of all my decorations. But, I think I like it better this way. Less for me to put away!!
This is where I hang all of the wonderful Christmas cards I get every year.
If you sent me one, can you find yours? *wink*
We’ve also continued to focus on Christmas activities during our homeschooling time. We’re taking next week off!
Our self-drawn Nativity Scenes. I loved my girls’ imaginations and creativity on this project we did.
Here is their rendition of The Nativity Scene with Barbies and Bitsy Baby playing star roles:
This week we’re trying to get school in around the sickness that’s going around our house. We’re doing some baking and making birthday cards for Jesus.Gifts are almost all wrapped.
Christmas is coming and we’re sooo ready! It’s really looking like Christmas around here…

{Wordful Wednesday} Me at 20 Weeks
Wednesday, November 10th, 2010
As promised from last week, here are some belly pictures of me at 20 weeks. You will also see pictures of my deformed leg from varicose veins. You don’t have to look at these if you find them gross!!
I took these of myself last night before I went to bed. They aren’t super flattering but I decided that if I waited for someone to get a flattering picture of me it would hardly ever happen!
Here are some shots of my leg. Any purple or blue you see is NOT bruising. Those are the actual veins sticking out.
And one more of my foot and ankle. Because I’m sadistic.
I hope you enjoyed this recap of me at 20 weeks!

Plum Tuckered Out
Wednesday, October 20th, 2010
Although we gave up naps last year, Madelyn could still use them.
She will still fall asleep on the couch whenever she gets really tired and I’ll find her snoozing away in some pretty funny positions.
Madelyn didn’t actually fall asleep in this position. I tried to wake her up and she made an effort to get off the chair and then fell back to sleep like this.
Last week I was cooking dinner and I came into the living room to find both girls passed out in the living room!
Again, I made an attempt to wake her up for dinner and she just rolled over and ended up like this.
Don’t you wish you could sleep this comfortably wherever you ended up?

Pigs In A Bathroom
Wednesday, March 17th, 2010
Where else but my bathroom would you find this?
I was in for a big surprise when I went to use the bathroom the other day. I found I was not alone.
It looks kinda nice there, doesn’t it? I may have to think about redecorating.

Out Of The Mouth Of Babes (Wordful Wednesday)

Me: Why is Cinderella over here in the corner by the bird cage?
Madelyn (2.5 years)- Because she’s in time out. She be naughty.
Me: Oohhhkay
Katelyn (4 years) to Madelyn: I have to go potty. Lets count to five and wait for daddy to come out so I can go in.
Madelyn: Ok
Katelyn and Madelyn together: One, two, three, four, five…
Madelyn: …..Six, seven..
Katelyn: No! We’re only doing FIVE.

Katelyn to me: Mama, are there a lot of numbers in Maxachussetts? (that’s how she says Massachusetts! lol)
Me: Uh….sure.
*********************************************************************
Katelyn to Madelyn while in the tub: Madelyn did you know that if you’re blind you can put mud on your eyes and you won’t be blind anymore? That’s what Jesus did. He put-ed mud on a man’s eyes that was blind and then he could see!
Me to Katelyn: Yes, Jesus did that because he was Jesus and he did miracles like that during Bible times but that kind of miracle really doesn’t happen today.
Madelyn to Katelyn: Yeah, becauth(Maddy has a bit of lisp every now and then! So cute) ….if you put mud in your eyes……….you will have muddy eyes!!
(So much truth to this statement!)

While watching ” A Baby Story” the other day ( still not sure how wise of an idea it was to watch it with the girls around ) Katelyn was captivated by the woman giving birth. As she was pushing Katelyn looked at me and said in complete awe and wonder ” IS THE BABY IN THE MOMMY’S BUM???”
